Pint Fermin has its humble beginnings in 2016 on the kitchen countertop in an elementary school teacher's home. For someone who was most passionate about teaching science, creating countertop kombucha concoctions became second nature. Experimenting with different teas, sugars, bottling conditions etc., provided variables that could be controlled and perfected over time through repeated brewing trials.
"When I realized I had gone a whole school year without taking a single day off of work for illness, I knew I was onto something. The only thing I had done differently was to add drinking a cup of homemade kombucha to my daily routine."
- Renee Aydelott, Founder
From this appreciation of how kombucha had transformed her health, she aspired to help others in finding the joy and benefits of home-brewing. An educator by nature, she began hosting kombucha workshops and private parties in the San Pedro / Los Angeles area. By using organic and fair trade ingredients, she continually strives to produce kombucha products that possess maximum health benefits, with naturally occurring colors and flavors that appeal to the senses.
